It all started on a warm summer night in 2019 — the kind where all romance blossoms — at Federales in West Loop.
It was a short-lived encounter that neither of them made too much of. She returned to Boston. He moved away for fellowship.
A few years later, in the summer of 2023, they both found themselves back in Chicago — brought together by their cousins, who had been lifelong friends.
The spark returned. The timing was right. He sent a DM. And they’ve been inseparable ever since.
